Good Life Kitchen, Rachel’s Juices & Smoothies open for business

Two local women have joined forces for a new joint business venture at the Morgan Building in Gloucester Court House.

Lorraine Walsh of Hayes and Ra’chel Cuba of James Store work together at Good Life Kitchen and Rachel’s Juices & Smoothies. Both businesses feature lots of fresh organic products.

They opened for business Sept. 30 and will hold a grand opening Friday. The grand opening will feature food tastings and a raffle and prizes.

The business is open for breakfast and lunch as “a grab and go café,” and remains open early evening so customers can pick up dinner items or drinks or hold meetings and special events in the 45-seat dining room.

Besides eat-in and take-out service, Walsh said they offer catering and box lunches for offices and group events. Soon she plans to offer cooking classes.
