The Cricket Hill Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, recently presented its Good Citizen Award to Brittany Ottarson, a senior at Mathews High School. The chapter presents this award annually to an outstanding student who possesses the qualities of dependability, service, leadership and patriotism. Ottarson will attend Rappahannock Community College where she has been accepted into the nursing program. She is the daughter of Mark and Anita Ottarson.
