The Piankatank River Golf Club held its club championships on Aug. 22 and 23 at the Hartfield course.

In the championship flight, John Donner was the winner for gross score with a 163, while Randy Pollard shot a 154 for the best net score.

In the men’s flight, the champions were Jerry Duke (gross, 157) and Timmy German (148, net). Larry Autry (160, gross) and Danny Whitaker (152, net) were crowned champs in the senior men’s flight. Michele Meanley (170, gross) and Gloria Matthews (150, net) were the winners in the ladies’ flight.
