GMHS to take part in ‘Community Snoutreach’ this weekend

The Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society is one of 18 shelters participating this weekend in a three-day adoption promotion dubbed the “Community Snoutreach Event.”

The goal is to boost dog adoptions and create more space for shelters to save lives across the region. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, municipal shelters and private animal rescue organizations are conducting the fee-waived or fee-reduced adoption event thanks to a grant from the Community Foundation for a Greater Richmond.
