The Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society is holding its “Paws’-itive Attraction” annual online auction beginning Sunday and lasting through Jan. 31.
The shelter is seeking to raise $100,000 in monetary donations during this fundraiser in order to receive a $100,000 matching gift from a donor.Donations made to GMHS and dated from Sunday through Jan. 31 are eligible to be matched. Donations may be made online at gmhumanesociety.org/donate, by phone at 804-693-5520, ext. 104, and by mail at P.O. Box 385, Gloucester, Va. 23061.
Tickets for the “Paws’-itive Attraction” raffle can be purchased at GMHS Tuesday through Sunday from noon until 5 p.m. each day or online. Enter for a chance to win a 14K gold St. Croix hook bracelet or $500 Visa gift card.
In conjunction with the online auction, virtual tickets are now on sale for a gala-to-go bag filled with treats for people and pets available for pickup Jan. 27.
