GMHS Oyster Roast to be held Saturday at Holly Point Farm

The Gloucester-Mathews Humane Society will hold an Oyster Roast from 2-5 p.m. Saturday at Holly Point Farm on the North River in Bohannon.

Lucy and Ramon Breeden, owners of Holly Point, will host the event, with proceeds going to the GMHS.

Attendees will be able to enjoy all-you-can-eat oysters (roasted, on the half shell and Rockefeller), provided by John and Tina Phillips; seasonal soups; and a bounty of sides and sweets, as well as wine from Naked Mountain Winery. Beer will also be provided. There will be other food selections for those who may not enjoy oysters. Music will be provided by the Virginia Symphony Orchestra.
