The Gloucester Mathews Care Clinic is currently accepting new patients.

Patient navigator Brandy Carpenter is reaching out to local businesses, churches and community agencies to get the word out about the clinic, which is located on Industrial Drive in Gloucester, across Route 17 from the River Bend apartments.

“We serve residents from Gloucester, Mathews and lower King and Queen counties. We have been a part of the community for 23 years and we offer health care services to adults who cannot afford health insurance,” she said.

Patients, between the ages of 18-64, must meet income requirements to be eligible. For a complete list of requirements, visit www.gmcareclinic.com/enroll. For prospective patients, the first step is to schedule a screening to determine eligibility. The cost for that appointment is $10 (this will happen yearly to continue services).
