Jennifer Minton was incredibly excited when she won $50,000 playing the Virginia Lottery’s Safari Quest online game.

Turns out, she was just getting warmed up.

Just a week later, the Gloucester woman was sitting around a campfire, playing the same game on her mobile device, when she won a jackpot worth $912,936.

She didn’t immediately realize she had won, though. Instead, when she saw the jackpot suddenly reset, she recalled thinking, “Dang, somebody just hit. They are so lucky!”

Then she looked again at her screen and realized she was the lucky one.

“I’m in shock,” she later told Virginia Lottery officials. “I’m in disbelief!”
