Gloucester Wine Walk to be held July 28

The Gloucester Main Street Association will hold a Wine Walk from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, at several businesses along Gloucester’s Main Street.

Participating merchants will open their shops as “tasting rooms” for a variety of wines, said Ashley Gilmartin, GMSA executive director.

Tickets cost $25 each and include an event map, souvenir logo glass and tastings along one of two routes. Twelve wines from around the world will be featured, a release said.

The North Tour includes Up South, Arts on Main, Split Enz Salon, Wilton Cottage and Garden, and The Nines Pet Boutique. The South Tour will include The Silver Box, Stewart Gallery, Coastal Comfort, Yolanda’s, Heart Felt Touch Massage, and Vashti’s Jewelers. If you are attending the event with a group, make sure that everyone purchases tickets for the same tour, Gilmartin said.
