Gloucester Wine Festival returns Sept. 23-24

The 2023 Gloucester Wine Festival, sponsored by the Gloucester Chamber of Commerce, will take place on the weekend of Sept. 23-24.

The festival was first held in 2010. For the first two years it was held at the Moton Center in Cappahosic, moving to Brent and Becky’s Bulbs in 2012, where it has been held ever since. The 2020 and 2021 events were sidelined due to Covid, returning last year.

The festival will feature 14 Virginia wineries, eight food trucks, 30 vendors and live music. Hours are 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23, and noon-5 p.m. the following day, Sunday, Sept. 24.

Saturday’s music will be provided by The Deloreans.

People buying tickets online are automatically registered for the VIP Sweepstakes which will give prizes of two nights with breakfast at the Inn at Warner Hall, gift baskets from Zoll Vineyards, Whitley’s Peanuts and Brent and Becky’s Bulbs, a $75 dinner certificate to Bangkok Noi Asian Bistro, apparel and VIP passes for both days of the festival...
