Gloucester Wine Festival

Chesapeake Bank has again signed on to be the headline, or “That’s Entertainment” sponsor for this year’s Gloucester Wine Festival. The Gloucester Chamber of Commerce’s 11th annual festival (which would have been the 13th if not for Covid causing cancellations in 2020 and 2021) returns on Sept. 17, with shuttle buses taking patrons from Ware Academy to the festival site at Brent and Becky’s Bulbs. “We’re definitely committed to being a partner to the chamber,” said Chesapeake Bank’s VP Regional Executive Melissa Crawford. Crawford, at right, and Chesapeake Bank AVP Regional Manager Jill Ortiz, left, are shown with Chamber Executive Makalia Records, who is holding a ticket to this year’s event. Tickets, at $40 apiece, went on sale on July 1. The festival is still accepting applications for vendors, sponsorships and exhibiting wineries.
