Gloucester Wetlands Board approves two applications

The Gloucester County Wetlands Board approved two shoreline improvement applications during its July 8 meeting in the colonial courthouse.

Linda Walthall, administrative assistant in the Environmental Programs Office, said that James Novotny sought authorization to add to existing 80 linear feet of riprap, raising the elevation approximately one foot in the original footprint along the Northwest branch of Sarah’s Creek at 7809 Waters Edge Lane.

Meanwhile, Walthall said that John Oldfield sought permission to remove a failing bulkhead and construct 100 linear feet of riprap revetment adjacent to property situated along the Northwest branch of Sarah’s Creek at 7825 Waters Edge Lane.
