The Gloucester Main Street Association will host a mobile tour from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, allowing Main Street professionals from across the country the chance to explore downtown Gloucester.

Approximately 50 people will travel to Gloucester by bus to take part in the tour, which is being held in conjunction with the National Main Street Conference being hosted in Richmond.

Gloucester Village will provide welcome bags for all the attendees, which will include flyers and souvenirs from local businesses in the Gloucester County area. Guests will also receive $10 in Main Street money to use at the businesses and a few fortunate guests will obtain a $25 voucher that they can use to buy items at certain businesses during the event.

Guests will get to learn about the history of Gloucester, ongoing preservation efforts, visit the dining and shopping areas and beer-tasting. They will also have the opportunity to network.
