Gloucester Toyota, in partnership with the Salvation Army, will hold a drive-thru food distribution for residents of Gloucester and Mathews counties beginning at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 7, at the dealership located at 6357 George Washington Memorial Highway.
The distribution will continue until 1 p.m. or while supplies last. No pre-registration is required. Gloucester Toyota conducted a similar food distribution in May 2020.
Those in need planning to attend are asked to bring proof of Gloucester or Mathews residency, such as a driver’s permit, utility bill or copy of a lease. When at the site, those receiving food will be asked to open the trunk of their vehicles; food will only be placed in the trunk.
