The Gloucester baseball team journeyed to Tappahannock yesterday and beat the Tappahannock team by the score of 11 to 9. Two fine games are booked for next week on the home grounds. Gloucester will play the strong Fort Monroe team here, Wednesday and its old rival, Messick, Saturday, June 20.
The Gloucester baseball team defeated West Point at West Point Saturday by a score of 8 to 0 in a rather listless game. Neff pitched three innings, Tom Harris and Claude Brown finishing.
