Gloucester to host small business workshops

Gloucester County Economic Development has lined up a series of free workshops to assist small businesses this month. Two sessions are planned on Monday, May 22, while three sessions are scheduled for Tuesday, May 23. The Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity will provide the presenters.

The first workshop, titled “Selling to the Commonwealth,” will be held from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. May 22 at the Main Street Center, Health Department entrance.

A separate workshop is planned from 1:30-4:30 p.m. that day at the Main Street Center, Health Department entrance. That session is titled “Moving Your Business Forward,” which will focus on the need for a business plan.

The following day, three sessions will be held about expedited small-, female- and minority-owned (SWaM) business processing at the Gloucester County Department of Information Technology, 6382 Main Street (old library building). Sessions are scheduled from 8:30-10:30 a.m., 11 a.m.-1 p.m., and ...
