Kati Cook is the manager for her family’s business, Gloucester Supply & Ace Hardware on Hayes Road, Hayes. She began working there at the age of 17, and said she never looked back.

Established by her father-in-law, Mark Cook, Gloucester Supply has been in business for 45 years, with the support of his wife, Valerie Cook. Kati Cook said her father-in-law made the business a staple in the community, “and I hope I am doing the same."

“We are proud to help support the community, and grateful that they continue to support our family business,” she said. “The customers over the years have become friends, and we hope they feel the same about us.”

Gloucester Supply offers hand tools, fasteners, paint supplies, plumbing, and electrical supplies for basic home repair and updating. There’s a boating section that has fiberglass supplies, bottom paint, anchors, bilge pumps, and other items, and a garden section that has garden seeds, grass seed, and more.
