Gloucester supervisors to hold retreat

The Gloucester County Board of Supervisors will hold a retreat today, Thursday, Nov. 30, beginning at 8:30 a.m. at Whitcomb Lodge, Beaverdam Park.

Morning topics include an update on the old Page Middle School site and plans for Carriage Court, Route 17 dilapidated structures and blight, and Gloucester’s growth. In the afternoon, items on the agenda include a proposed strategic plan for Gloucester Point, dis-cussion on short-term rentals, and a discussion of security for board meetings.

The board will also hold a closed meeting on potential acquisition/disposition of an interest in a portion of Brown Park.
