Gloucester supervisors meet Tuesday

The Gloucester County Board of Supervisors will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the colonial courthouse to discuss a number of items, including mandatory water and sewer connection requirements for some county residents.

Also, Del. Keith Hodges (R-Urbanna) will give an update on the 2017 Virginia General Assembly and board chairman Phillip Bazzani will give a presentation on the state of the county.

Other items on Tuesday night’s agenda include potential amendments to county code regarding animal welfare and control; a repetitive flood claim grant opportunity, and a Virginia Telecommunications Initiative opportunity and application.

The board has a closed meeting scheduled at the end of its agenda to discuss personnel matters.  ...
