Gloucester students take part in Jr. Great Computer Challenge

Several Gloucester Public Schools elementary students placed in the Junior Great Computer Challenge held on May 14 at Old Dominion University.

The Bethel Elementary team of Emma Layton, Austin Miller and Paxton Beasley received a Superior rating in Graphic Design. They were coached by Tammie Spivey and Carla Stanley.

The Abingdon Elementary team of Ashlyn Andersen, Kaitlyn Hearon and Chase Lawson received an Excellent rating in Graphic Design. The Abingdon team of Ainslee Brown, Emily Faulkner and Dylan Hearon was second in Desktop Publishing. Also, the Abingdon team of Samantha Lindemann, Colby Morris and Aiden Sheesley was third in Graphic Design. All three Abingdon teams were coached by Jessica Lawson and Sarah Lindemann.
