The Gloucester County School Board made several personnel appointments during its July 12 meeting. Jon Neblett of Hayes, was appointed as a counselor at Gloucester High School and Richard Hanley of Yorktown and James Miller of Gloucester, were appointed to teaching positions at GHS.
Also, Edwin Tucker of North, Cristie Steele of Newport News, and Britney Scordino of Port Angeles, Wash., were appointed to teaching positions at Peasley Middle School; Mary Seitz of Hampton, was appointed as the counselor at Achilles Elementary School. In addition, Catherine Wilson of Gloucester, was appointed as a teacher assistant.
Resignations were accepted from GHS Spanish teacher Leah Pardo, GHS mathematics teacher Stephen Hendrix, Peasley special education teacher Sabrina Dunn, Peasley reading specialist Kelly Siegel and support services employee Linda Hogge.
