The Gloucester County School Board appointed Lisa Jenkins of Hayes, to a support services position during personnel action taken during its March 10 meeting. The appointment was effective March 11.

The board also approved a request from Petsworth Elementary teacher Avencia Ross to rescind her resignation, which it approved during its Jan. 13 meeting.

The board additionally accepted a resignation from support services employee Shirley Maggard, effective Feb. 24, and approved retirement for elementary special education teachers Kimm Dellinger and Kathleen Wimberly, both effective July 1.

In positions paid by supplement, the board accepted a resignation from Gloucester High School assistant wrestling coach Bruce Scott, effective Feb. 23.

The board appointed Peter LeBel as the assistant boys’ varsity soccer coach at GHS, Adam Miller as the spring game manager at GHS and Brian Dodier as the boys’ basketball coach at Peasley Middle School. ...
