Gloucester School Board makes appointments

The Gloucester County School Board made several personnel appointments during its Sept. 14 meeting. Appointed to teaching positions for the 2021-2022 school year were JakeLynn Ellis of North, Brian DiGiovine II of Cardinal, Deborah Brown and Jamie Carpenter of Williamsburg, and Laurie Hertzler of Bellevue, Washington.

The following persons were appointed to support services positions: John Dixon of Gwynn; Timothy Haase of Gloucester Point; Calin Lindberg, Micala Sparks and Tamika Warley, all of Gloucester; Timberlee Savage and Mary Updike, both of Hayes; and Emily Adams of Elizabeth, New Jersey.

Resignations were accepted from speech language pathologist Kristin Gillig Casallas, effective Oct. 5, and Page Middle School history teacher Amanda McDonald, effective Sept. 14.

Resignations were also accepted from support services personnel Michelle Fransisco, Brooke Graham, Melinda Hall, Brandi Munson, Jennifer Verstegen and Tammie Demarco-Brown.
