Gloucester School Board approves personnel appointments

The Gloucester County School Board appointed Rachel Emde of Richmond as the art teacher at Page Middle School in personnel actions during its Feb. 12 meeting. The board also appointed Pleshette Hodge-Carter as a teacher assistant for the special education preschool program at the Walker Education Center.

In addition, the board approved retirement for the following teachers: Abingdon Elementary teacher Deborah King; Bethel Elementary teachers Anita Bolger, Lorena Caprio, Pamela Driggs and teacher assistant Chrystal Welch; and Gloucester High School teachers Robert Healy, Merle Ivey and Ronald Flowe.

 

Resignations were accepted from Abingdon Elementary teacher Erin Garnett, effective at the end of the school year, and support services employee Ruby B. West, effective June 6.
