The Gloucester County School Board accepted several resignations during its June 12 meeting. Resignations were accepted from school counselor Cindy Peterson, Gloucester High School teachers Heidi Campbell and Derek Kibler, Page Middle School teacher Lisa Willis, Peasley Middle School teacher Jacky Nelson, Achilles Elementary teacher Angela Reeves, Petsworth Elementary teacher Amy Jackson and support employee Eileen Brostoski.

Coaching resignations were accepted from GHS varsity baseball coach Derek Kibler, GHS varsity boys’ soccer coach James Sowers and Peasley athletic director and basketball coach Henry Holmes. Kibler was appointed to a teaching position with Mathews County Public Schools at that division’s school board meeting, also on June 12.
In addition, the Gloucester board approved retirement for special education coordinator Allen Fulford Jr., GHS French/Spanish teacher Jo Anne Coogan and support personnel Sylvia Davis and Betty S. Martin.
