Gloucester runners win relay by less than a second

The Gloucester High School track team took victory in the boys’ 4x400m relay by less than a second, finishing with a time of 3:41.12 while Menchville finished the race with a 3:41.38. Tanner Baker, Alec Daniel, Conner O’Beirne and Saige Miller competed in the relay.

On a similar note, Gloucester’s Ryan Allcorn, Owen Hogge, Leo Berry and Tyler Hicks won the boys’ 4x800m relay with a time of 9:37.90. Menchville again took second place, with a time of 9:38.00.

Baker, Daniel and O’Beirne took first, second and third places in the boys’ 3200m dash with times of 10:12.83, 10:24.71 and 10:28.71, respectively.

In the boys’ 100m dash, Miller ran a 12.32, followed by Pace Peterson (12.76) and Peyton Cherkauer (13.67). Miller ran a 24.91 in the boys’ 200m dash, followed by Peterson (26.26) and Cherkauer (27.37).

In the boys’ 400m dash, Wyatt Pruitt ran a 1:02.07, followed by Brandon Carucci (1:07.69), Devin Lowney (1:09.23), Jacob Poulin (1:10.50) and Ethan Pincince (1:11.66). Hicks ...
