Gloucester roundtable to focus on land disturbing activities

The York River and Small Coastal Basins Roundtable will be held from 8-10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 19, at Brent & Becky’s Bulbs, 7900 Daffodil Lane, Gloucester.

The session is titled "Before the Backhoe Training," a release said, and will include speakers on erosion control, Bay Act requirements and other topics.

"We anticipate that developers, local officials and anyone involved in land disturbing activities will come to get the scoop on compliance with the rules that protect our local streams and the Chesapeake Bay," the release said.
