Gloucester County is experiencing an influx of new restaurants despite the pandemic. Restaurant owners say their Gloucester locations are exceeding expectations, according to a release from the Gloucester Department of Economic Development. “Owning a restaurant in Gloucester is unique because in addition to serving local residents, restaurateurs serve residents from several other localities on the Middle Peninsula. This equates to over 80,000 customers supporting the local economy,” the release stated. The five recently opened restaurants are: Creekside Café and Market (6824 Coleman Crossing Avenue, Hayes); Jersey Mike’s Subs (6828 Walton Lane in the Fox Mill Centre, Gloucester); Tacos Vamonós (7088 Hayes Shopping Center, Unit 1); Tropical Smoothie Café (6691 Fox Centre Parkway in the Fox Mill Centre, Gloucester), and The Farmasea Restaurant (6764 Main Street, Gloucester).
