Gloucester Resource Council to mark 40th anniversary

The Gloucester Resource Council will hold its 40th anniversary celebration at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 7, at Gloucester Library in Main Street Center.

Some of the founding and past members of the organization are expected to attend, a release stated. A light brunch will be served.

Those planning to attend are asked to call Gloucester Community Engagement at 804-693-5730 by Friday.

GRC elected its 2017-18 officers at the group’s May meeting. Debbie Lancucki, program director with Three Rivers Healthy Families, was re-elected as chairman and Gloria Williams, executive director of the Gloucester County Chamber of Commerce, as vice chair.

The 2016-17 program year featured many accomplishments and focused on areas as varied as Bridges Out of Poverty, Trauma Informed Care and Adverse Childhood Experiences, and a community forum on affordable/low-income housing, a release said.
