The Gloucester Board of Supervisors seeks residents interested in serving on the many board-appointed groups in the county. There are several vacancies to be filled.

One person is needed on each of the following groups: Board of Equalization, which serves as an appeals board for the county’s real estate assessment; someone from York District is needed on the Clean Community Committee, which advises county staff on matters related to county beautification efforts; a business community member is needed on the Local Emergency Planning Committee, which provides pre-planned and coordinated emergency response for hazardous material incidents, and someone is sought for the Colonial Group Home Commission, which administers programs that benefit youth offenders and their families.
