Gloucester resident victim of carjacking

A Gloucester resident was carjacked after giving a couple a ride from Gloucester Point Shopping Center to Williams Landing Road on Nov. 11. The suspects were still at large and the vehicle had not been located as of Tuesday.

According to the Gloucester Sheriff’s Office, the victim was at the Langley Federal Credit Union ATM in the shopping center when he was approached by a female around 6 p.m. The female asked for a ride for herself and her male companion to the Farm Fresh area due to a family emergency.

The GSO said the man got in the passenger seat and the female in the back of the car. They asked the victim to turn onto Powhatan Drive and then onto Williams Landing Road. At that point, the man brandished a firearm and told the victim to go to the end of the road, where the victim was instructed to get out of the car and the couple left with the vehicle.

The victim was not injured during the incident. His car is a 2002 silver Honda Accord with Virginia license plates &ldquo...
