Gloucester Relay to be held this weekend

The annual Gloucester Relay for Life will be held Saturday and Sunday at Gloucester High School. Thirty-one teams have participated in the Gloucester campaign this year, as the American Cancer Society which it benefits celebrates its 100th anniversary.

The Relay begins Saturday with a 5:30 p.m. dinner for cancer survivors trackside in the GHS stadium. The ceremony opening the relay is scheduled for 7 o’clock and the Luminaria Ceremony is slated for 9 p.m. The relay ends with a closing ceremony at 6 a.m. Sunday.
