Gloucester Parks, Recreation and Tourism has a number of upcoming programs. BEST YEARS TRIPS: Gloucester PRT has a pair of Best Years Trips scheduled. On Thursday, March 26, the group is going to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The museum contains the largest public collection of Fabergé and Russian decorative arts in an American museum. The fee is $30; the registration deadline is March 12. From 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, a Best Years Trip will be held to the Norfolk Botanical Garden. The azalea tour in late April includes displays of many colors of azaleas, camellias and more. The fee is $50; the deadline to register is April 22. THE FULL HIKE: The Full Hike on the third Saturdays of March, April and May, beginning at 9 a.m. Meet at Beaverdam Park’s main entrance, at 8:45 a.m. and participants will be shuttled to the Fary’s Mill Road park entrance where they will hike the approximately nine-mile trail back to the main entranc...
