Gloucester PR&T announces its programs

Upcoming programs of Gloucester Parks, Recreation and Tourism include the following:

FOOD SAFETY CERTIFICATION: Parks, Recreation & Tourism is sponsoring a Food Safety Certification class on Tuesdays and Thursdays, July 13-22 from 2-5 p.m. at the Stewart Building, across from Botetourt school. This class meets the Gloucester County Code requirements for food establishments. The full class is $175; for the test only on July 22, the fee is $65 without a book and $85 with the book. The deadline for all options is June 29.

EXPERIENCE GLOUCESTER HISTORY DAY CAMP: Parks, Recreation & Tourism is sponsoring a day camp to Explore Gloucester History, July 19-22, 9 a.m.-noon at the Gloucester Museum of History. Visit the Gloucester Museum of History and Rosewell, learn about archaeology and artifacts, meet Revolutionary War heroes and hear the sound of musket fire. Fee is $59 and the deadline to register is July 12.
