The Gloucester Outlaws Football teams won all of their games this past Saturday against the Essex Trojans.
The Outlaws 6U team defeated the Trojans in overtime, 38-37. Grayson Foster scored one touchdown and an extra point, Bentley Musick scored one rushing touchdown and Caleb Briggs also scored one touchdown. The Outlaws 6U defense all had multiple tackles by Micah Caballero, Tucker Isaksen, Kolton Grant, Lincoln Oast, Liam Briggs, Colton Rumer, Alex Burns, Mason Hartleben, Mac Slusher and Adorian Lee.
Offensive player of the game was Jaiden Cooke who had 150 rushing yards and scored two touchdowns. Defensive player of the game was Musick who had six sacks.
The Outlaws 10U team shut out the Trojans, 20-0. Offensive player of the game was Khaidyn Spencer who had 150 rushing yards, one rushing touchdown and a 15-yard reception for another score. Maliki Reaves was defensive player of the game with one sack and four tackles for a loss.
Notable 10U Gloucester players were Kyle Young with one passing touchdown and a fumble recovery; Noah Hill with one rushing touchdown, a sack and four tackles; and Steffan Giddings with one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and three tackles.
The Outlaws 8U team defeated the Trojans, 19-0. Tyler Washington had 110 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns; Jace Scalf had 22 rushing yards and scored one extra point; and Jamison Miller had a 25 rushing yard breakaway.
On defense, Gunnar Valcourt had five tackles for loss and seven team tackles; Harrison Santana had four team tackles; Noah Sterling had three team tackles and one tackle for loss; Logan Chase had four team tackles, two tackles for loss and one forced fumble that led to one forced interception; Scalf had two team tackles and one interception; J.J. Koch had two team tackles and one forced fumble; and Jason Levitov had two team tackles and one quarterback hit.
The Gloucester 12U team also had a successful game against the Trojans, winning 33-0. Joel Moore led the offensive line. The offensive line protected its QB with no sacks and helped the offense score four rushing TDs and gain over 300 yards.
Luis Seda and Landon Stanley led the defense. The defense was able to shut out the Trojans along with a punt returned for a touchdown.
The Outlaws Cheer teams cheered for the 10U and 6U games. The Outlaws Mini Xtreme cheer captains were Celestia Altman, Addalyn Gipple and Annabelle Norman. The Outlaws Junior Xtreme cheer captains were Summer Geode and Zoe Smith. Faith Timball and Ja’lynn Lee were named most spirited for the Junior Xtreme team.
