With early voting just a couple of weeks away, the Gloucester Branch NAACP will hold a forum to give voters a chance to see where the local candidates stand on the issues.
The Gloucester NAACP Candidate Forum will be held from 6-9 p.m. next Thursday, Sept. 11, in the auditorium of the T.C. Walker Education Center, 6099 T.C. Walker Road, Gloucester.
Candidates running for the House of Delegates in the 68th and 69th Districts and all local Gloucester County candidates have been invited to participate, answering questions compiled from a cross section of Gloucester County citizens.
In an endeavor to create community and reduce negativity the format is non-confrontational, and the candidates will have the questions ahead of time, a release stated. Velma Benns will serve as moderator. All are welcome.
