Gloucester middle schools make administrative changes

The Gloucester County School Board made several personnel changes for the 2016-2017 school year during its June 14 meeting at the T.C. Walker Education Center.

Page Middle School principal Virginia Wilburn was re-assigned to one of two special education coordinator positions in the central office and Peasley Middle School principal Robert Parsons was re-assigned to the GOAL online learning program and will additionally oversee other online alternative education offerings. Both principal positions are currently open to applicants.

Also, Page assistant principal Roger Gross and Peasley assistant principal Jennifer Eddy will switch positions, while Peasley assistant principal Jodie Simpson will become the assistant principal at Botetourt Elementary. The administrators will move to their new positions on July 1. Seven teachers were also reassigned to different schools for the 2016-2017 academic session.
