Gloucester middle schoolers win at science fair

Two Gloucester middle school students were among the winners in the Junior Division of the 67th Annual Tidewater Science and Engineering Fair held on March 3 at Old Dominion University. 

Page Middle School student Dani Asnicar won first place for her entry in the Engineering: Materials and Bioengineering category. Asnicar’s project was titled “Can Your Roof Save You Money?”

Peasley Middle School student Sarah McCreary took third place for her project in the Engineering: Electrical and Mechanical category. McCreary’s project was titled “Electromagnetic Barriers: Is It Possible to Contain Electromagnetic Radian from Penetrating a Designated Area?” ...
