Gloucester Library taking part in COVID-19 at-home test distribution

The Gloucester County Public Library is partnering with the Virginia Department of Health to distribute free rapid at-home COVID-19 test kits (while supplies last).

Test kits were first made available Friday morning and the first batch was gone within a half hour. The library was notified Tuesday that the delivery of additional kits has been delayed due to supply disruptions.

When again available, tests can be requested via curbside pickup only at the Main Street Center branch from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The library is located at 6920 Main Street.

Individuals who are sick should not come to the library; however, a family member may come to pick up a test on their behalf. Tests will be distributed to family members only. No library card is required to receive a test kit.
