Gloucester Library announces upcoming programs

The Gloucester County Public Library has a pair of upcoming programs in September, both of which will be held at the Main Street Center location.

Robert Kelly, Gloucester County Museums Coordinator, will present a lecture on “Humanizing the Enslaved of Fort Monroe’s Arc of Freedom” on Thursday, Sept. 14, beginning at 6 p.m. Registration for this program opens today.

The library will also hold a program on how to weave a small basket on Saturday, Sept. 16, at 10:30 a.m. This program will be led by Master Weaver Tamme Durant. Registration for this program begins Saturday.

Both programs are for ages 18 and older. Space is limited. Call 804-693-2998 for more information.
