Author Patti Procopi will talk about the challenges she faced while writing her first mystery novel, “The Murderer You Know,” on May 17 at 2 p.m. Copies of her book will be available for purchase. No registration is required.
Weave a Market Basket with instructor Tamme Durant on May 23 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Supplies will be provided. Registration is underway.
Carlos Britos of Edward Jones will hold financial seminars June 10 and July 29, all beginning at 2 o’clock. Britos will discuss investment strategies and highlight information regarding Social Security and retirement. No registration is required.
Create wine glass charms at the library on May 21, beginning at 6 p.m. Registration opens Friday.
Tea with the ’Ton” will be presented by Museum Specialist Sidney Ripley of the Gloucester Museum of History on May 28 at 6 p.m. Ripley will explore the world of Jane Austen, as well as “Bridgerton,” a popular book and television series. Dressing up is encouraged and refreshments will be provided. Registration is not required.
Ripley will also hold, “Victory at Home,” on June 11, beginning at 6 p.m. She will discuss what life was like in America during World War II. No registration is required.
“Age of Style, Age of Change” will be presented by Ripley on June 25 at 6 p.m. Learn about women’s 18th-century fashion and beauty practices. Decorate your own fan, which was a common accessory during this time period.
