Gloucester launches new landowners’ website

Gloucester County has recently launched a new website—http:gloucestergis.timmons.com—that makes it easier to search for county properties and find adjoining parcels.

The website, developed by the county’s Geographic Information Systems department, includes easier zooming and panning, as well as layers that provide information on everything from county limits and magisterial districts to topography and floodplains. The website also provides basic real estate assessment data from the most current assessment cycle.

The launch of this GIS website is the first of two phases. The second phase of the project will add more data to the parcels from the real estate assessment system as well as information from the tax system. Phase 2 will also integrate high resolution photography from the county’s Pictometry system with the website.
