Gloucester Knights play VA Eagles

Last Saturday saw more games for the Knights of the Gloucester Youth Football and Cheer League.The Gloucester Mini Mites fell, 23-6, to the VA Eagles. Coach William Broughman named Colton Belvin the Offensive MVP for his 30 yards and touchdown. Defensive MVP was Devin Murrel, who recorded three tackles.

The Midget Knights lost to the VA Eagles, falling 40-0. Kayvon Wilson was the standout for the Knights, ending the game with 51 rushing yards on offense and four tackles on defense.

For the Mini cheerleaders, cheerleader Madyson Gonzalez was awarded Most Spirited and Saniah Ivey was given Best Technique.

For the Mites, Aubree Belvin was named Most Spirited and Cordie Seltzer was awarded Best Technique.

For the Mighty Mites, Alexis Smith was named Most Spirted and Faith Belvin was awarded Best Technique.

For the Midgets, Mallorie Coates was named Most Spirited and Lacy Coates was awarded Best Technique.
