Gloucester indoor track season begins

The season has begun for the Gloucester High School indoor track team. The team competed on Dec. 1 in the Lampert Timing Indoor Track Meet at the Boo Williams Sportsplex in Hampton and again at the Boo Williams Indoor Season Opener on Dec. 3 and 4.

At the Lampert Timing Indoor Track Meet, Gloucester only competed at the JV level with the boys taking first place overall with a score of 114.50 and the girls placing second with a score of 107.

Boys

In the JV boys’ 4x400 Meter Relay, GHS had two teams place in the top three. The team of Michael Asnicar, Ethan Pincince, Dominic Turner and Eric Waters took second place behind the team from Northampton with a time of 4:40.27. The team of Landon Oliver, Jacob Poulin, Joel Taylor and Ethan Gardner took third with a time of 4:53.98.
