Gloucester House makes U.S. News & World Report’s list

Nineteen of Commonwealth Senior Living’s senior communities—including its Gloucester facility, were recently recognized by U.S. News & World Report.

Over 3,000 independent assisted living and memory care communities were surveyed nationwide. Residents and family members were asked to rate their experience with the things that matter most—the kindness of staff; variety of activities; quality of the food and dining experience; whether local transportation is provided to doctor’s appointments, grocery stores or other daily needs; the quality of on-site caregiving and more.

The top-rated communities for each level of care were selected by U.S. News & World Report and named “Best Senior Living” in their categories.

“This recognition has been made possible thanks to our dedicated associates and their innovative approach to serving our residents,” said Earl Parker, President & CEO of Commonwealth Senior Living. “From our award-winning dining program to our first-in-class approach to memory care, Commonwealth Senior Living is leading the way nationally for our care of seniors.”

Commonwealth Senior Living at Gloucester House was named Best Assisted Living in the nationwide survey. The facility is located near Riverside Walter Reed Hospital at 7657 Meredith Drive.
