The 2011 Gloucester County Fair and Carnival will kick off next week at Ark Park. Doors to the carnival open at 6 p.m. Tuesday, with events held from 6 to 10 p.m. through Friday, Aug. 5 and from noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 6.
This year’s fair, dedicated to Gloucester Fair Association charter member Stanley McMullen, will bring new attractions such as professional wrestling demonstrations and lawnmower races, plus all of the traditional features.
Katey Legg, recreation supervisor for the Gloucester’s Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department, said that the fair will feature National Wrestling Alliance Fusion Professional Wrestling on Tuesday and Wednesday from 6:30-9:30 p.m.
"This will include Preston Quinn and the rest of the NWA Fusion stars, at their last stop on the way to Brutal Games," Legg said.
