Licensed and insured safety instructors Ricky and Crystal Blowe of Gloucester, have started R&C Safety Training Services. R&C offers first aid, CPR and AED certification and recertification classes. The new business is mobile, allowing them to serve the local area, including the greater Richmond area and throughout Hampton Roads.

R&C Safety Training Services offer in-person and hybrid courses for certification. The in-person course is a 5-6-hour class that features instruction and skill assessment. The hybrid course is similar in duration and features learning modules as well as the in-person skill assessment.

Prior to becoming certified instructors through the American Red Cross, the husband-and-wife duo were the safety coordinators for their church. Crystal said it was her prayer that they could do something to make a difference and found themselves led to becoming safety instructors.
