Gloucester County Schools look forward to the year ahead

It’s been a busy summer in Gloucester County Public Schools, with summer programs occurring at all schools, construction projects at several schools—including the new Page Middle School—and welcoming new teachers and staff members to their new positions.

There is noteworthy news going on at all eight county schools; here are some thoughts from the building administrators:

Abingdon Elementary School—LaQuiche Parrott, principal; Mary Beth Preas, assistant principal.

The Abingdon staff welcomes all of our Panthers (new and returning) to the 2015-2016 school year. Our school theme will embody our student-centered focus: Leaving Paw Prints on the Future! We ask that you join us in leaving positive paw prints on our children’s future by joining our PAW-SOME PTA led by our president, Melissa Andersen; become a school volunteer by contacting our Community Education Coordinator’s office; and keep open communication with our school community.
