More and more, people are turning to podcasts to get an in-depth dive into news, history, popular culture, etc. Now Gloucester County has turned to that format as a way to reach county residents and others.

Gloucester has launched the podcast, “Current Conversations,” to foster engagement with those in the community who want to learn more of what Gloucester has to offer.

The podcast, which will feature new episodes on the first Wednesday of each month, is presented by the county’s Community Engagement and Public Information Department and can be found on the county’s website, as well as popular podcast streaming services.

“Podcasts are growing exponentially in popularity,” said Gloria Williams, Gloucester’s CE&PI manager. “We are always looking for new and unique ways to help engage a wide demographic of our community and thought that this podcast would be the perfect avenue to reach more people with valuable and timely information,” she said.
