Members of the Gloucester Daffodil Club finished the daffodil exhibition season with yet more ribbons in two shows—the Washington Daffodil Society Show in Alexandria and the Upperville Garden Club Show in Fauquier County.

In the Washington show, awards went to Carla Stanley, ADS Gold Ribbon for the Best in Show and ADS Best Classic Ribbon; Anne Earman, ADS Best Historic Ribbon and ADS Best Historic 3-Stem Ribbon; Tammie Spivey, ADS Small Growers Ribbon and ADS Standard Container-Grown Ribbon; and Luke and Adam Blaylock, ADS Brooke Ager Youth Challenge Award. Other blue-ribbon winners from the club were Genie Applegate, Peggy Bowditch and Nancy Fuchs.

In the Upperville show, awards were received by Dianne Spence, ADS Gold Ribbon for Best in Show, Lavender Ribbon for Best Miniature Collection, ADS White for Best 3-Stems, and ADS Mini White for Best 3-Stem Miniatures; and Luke and Adam Blaylock, ADS Youth Best Bloom Ribbon.
